Living the "sacred view of life" and engaging "compassionate action" is how we, as Buddhists, wish to live our lives. Yet, all too often, the complexity of modern life and our own limitations leave us feeling that the Buddha dharma is remote and impractical.
Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and lineage masters, down through time, have taught and demonstrated again, and again, the noble and profound qualities of love, compassion, joy and equanimity. Such noble values, only become our own when we immerse ourselves to the point of personal integration.
Lama Tsering Everest and the Odsal Ling Temple offers you "Life as Path", a residential teaching program for people who wish to immerse themselves in the rhythm of Buddhist life. Never before has it been more crucial for us to enact these principles in both our personal lives and our world.
Your involvement in the program may be a week, a month, or 6 months and can extend up to 2 years. Immersion in our "Life as Path" program will include daily group meditation, study of Buddhist texts, art and yoga. Ritual training and personal meditation periods will be available along with daily Temple activities and “Bodhichitta in the workplace."
Most important are the teachings, which will be given by Lama Tsering and Lama Norbu, and supported by archive video and audio presentations.
The Odsal Ling "Life as Path" immersion program will help us define and imbue our modern lives with Buddhist Integrity: altruism, love, compassion and wisdom.

This first “pilot” program will last three months. During the first week, the Bodhisattva Action program will also be taking place, which is open to other participants.
Lama Tsering believes that every practitioner should plan on spending a period of time in this kind of program: “This period should be like a graduate program in Wisdom – an effort that we make in our own quest to broaden our Vision and prepare ourselves to live our lives in a positive way, benefiting all those with whom come in contact.”
